camera sim card reader and sd card quit working

My camera I'm galaxy 4 quit working then my sim card reader and now my sd card is not readable in any phone. What's going on how do I fix it?

Unless the card was formatted and encoded as "Internal" storage, you should be able to read the SD card from a computer.

Would the sudden stopping of the sd card have anything to do with the camera failing and the sim card reader messing up?

The camera failing shouldn't effect the card. The card reader messing up, that is a possible problem. It depends if the reader damaged the card in the process.
