Can’t change volume while watching Netflix on Vizio Smart TV

I cannot access “menu”, change volume or anything while watching Netflix. How can I adjust the volume without exiting Netflix on my Vizio Smart TV?

The remote volume up and down should work. You don't need to get to the menu. Netflix also has a volume control in the app.

I tried adjusting the volume with the volume button (prior to posting) and that didn’t work, which is what made me investigate to see if other buttons would work

Are you using the TV Netflix app? TV speakers or external speakers? I have no issues at all using the TV remote while in Neflix, audio works normally.

I’m using the Netflix app with internal speakers. It’s so weird!!!

Hi. I have no idea if you found the answer or not but same thing happened to me all of a sudden. I had to reset the tv to factory settings. And the volume worked again on the Netflix app
