Can a 90W adapter be used for a Lenovo Z40 instead of the 65W charger?

Recently, my 65W charger broke for my Lenovo Z40 so I decided to get a new one. The new charger I got was a 90W adapter, but I want to know if it is safe to use with my Lenovo Z40 longterm. Thanks

Provided it's the right brand and plug, and is otherwise safe, yes.

Don't forget it also has to have correct voltage output. So if your old adapter puts out 18V, the new one has to as well.
