Can any unlocked CDMA android phones work with virgin mobile?

I want to switch to Virgin Mobile but dont like their Android line up. Can i buy a unlocked CDMA android phone and get it to work with Virgin Mobile?

In theory, yes. However, I'd get in touch with Virgin first before buying just to ensure that they'll allow a given phone on their network.
