Solved! Can I add this graphic card to my build?

I have a 2011 build HTPC, which started experiencing short freezing sessions during video playback after Windows 10 was installed.
Investigation indicated that on-board GPU is struggling; and there is no Win 10 driver for it.

Would it be OK to add GT 710 to this build? Thanks!


This is what I currently have:

• Sandy bridge i3-2100T @2.50GHz(LGA 1155) 35W with integrated onboard 3D video
• ASROCK H67M-GE/HT (B3) LGA 1155 Intel H67 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Inel Motherboard
• G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F3-10600CL9D-4GBNT

Yes, it should work just fine for a HTPC.

Thanks. Is it compatible with my configuration in terms of heat generation, slots, power requirements? Any other potential issues?

Should be okay as long as your HTPC has normal airflow. I don't see any compatibility concerns at all.
