Can i avtivate a new att&t sim card without the imei number

I'm trying to activate a new sim in my At&t phone but there is no imei number , what can I do?

All phones have an IMEI numbers. You just need to know where to look for it.

If you can't find it in the phone (which it is usually behind the battery) then you can find it within the phones data.

Try calling (yes calling like you would enter a phone number) " * # 0 6 # " (without the spaces and quotes). Your phone should show the IMEI number on the screen. Note: Some phones list it as an MEID or an ESN. Same thing.
