Can I change my laptop's keyboard to one with a different language?

Solution

Oh, now I get it. For some reason I was thinking that you were just changing out the plastic overlay, and leaving the sensors underneath.

Yes, you should be able to make the swap, and be prepared to change the language in Windows.

The laptop detects the keyboard as a PS/2 Keyboard. Shouldn't it be ok as long as the connector is the same? I can change the input language on windows after all.
