can i change the viewfinder glass of my dslr seeing some dirt in it cant see clearly please tell me.I have nikon d7100

i have nikon d7100.Can i replace the viewfinder eye view glass of my dslr.Seeing some dirt in it.When i clean it its shows grimmy but picture is good

It might be on the mirror (that flips up), the penta-mirror (inside behind the eyepiece) or on the other side of the viewfinder lens. Did you clean the mirror that flips up?

You need not change viewfinder however dirt seen in view finder is from top side of grid screen. This happens due to ageing of sponge given as cushioning for pentaprism. This can be cleaned by compitant person. As u have to lower screen by pressing lock located just behind sponge (mirror when goes up hits this sponge liner). However this will not affect ur picture quality.
