are you talking about this one:

it features bluetooth connectivity so you should be able to use that to connect to you smartphone/tablet, etc.

If you do not have the bluetooth version of the Klipsch 2.1speakers, then you need a male to male 3.5mm audio cable to connect the phone / tablet to the speakers.
