Can I drive 250 ohm BeyerDynamic DT880s with motherboard audio?

I don't know if this is the right place to ask because I'm new to this whole audiophile thing. I have a Gigabyte GA-B85M-D3H with Realtek ALC892 audio. Would that be powerful enough to run the dt880s?

nope.

while some onboard might be strong enough to get audio, its not going to make the headphones sound as good as they could.

at minimum a creative z, fiio e10k or fiio a3. schiit magni would be perfect.
