Can i get a number back which i was using a year before and is now deactivated. Its a aircel sim by the way.

Only way to find out is to contact the service provider and check with them. I doubt that you can, unused numbers go into the general use pool, that is why people sometimes get calls from people they don't know, it's just someone calling an old number they new.
