Can I make a 6 ohm speaker into a 4 ohm speaker

I'm installing 4 inch speakers into my car and all I have is 6ohm speakers and it's a 4ohm system

f your amp or receiver is intended for 6 or 8 ohm speakers, a lower impedance can cause problems. ... The result is the power supply is not able to supply the extra power demands that come with a lower impedance. Typically with a 4 ohm load the amp would output 50% more power.

Nothing needs done. A "4 ohm" system will drive 6 ohm speakers just fine, albeit at somewhat reduced output.
