Can I play gta5 on my laptop??

Please friends help me out I am planning to buy a laptop with the below specs
1.7ghz Intel core i5-4210u (2.7ghz turbo)
Intel Hd graphics 4400
Nvidia GeForce 820m (2gb)
Windows 8.1 pro (64-bit)
8gb DDR3l ram
Can I play gta5

No you will not be able to play
Minimum requiremets are

Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHz
Radeon HD 4870
4 GB RAM

The main problem is you graphics. Intel graphics are inbuilt with the cpu and when you have borderline specs and no independent graphic card then there is only 10% chance that you will able to play.And even if you are able to play the game will generally crash after a hour or half due low graphic memmory

Depends. If using the Intel HD integrated graphics, then no, you can't play it.

With the GeForce 820M...maybe. I can't find it on Tom's GPU Hierarchy (http/www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-graphics-card-review,3107-7.html), but as long as it falls somewhere between nVidia's GT 9800 (15th-tier) & the GTX 660 (8th-tier), you should at least be able to manage low- to medium-quality.

Yes you can. Below is a link to GTA 5 tested on various mobile GPUs. The Geforce 820m is not listed, but the older GeForce 720m is listed.

You can play GTA V on an Nvidia GT 820M. Just lower the settings.
