Can I replace my 160 Gb Internal HDD with 750 GB Internal HDD on my Acer Net Book ?

It has got preloaded windows xp basic(Home).

It has got 1 Gb of DDR3 RAM.

Will there wiil be any problems for the OS .

He is politely saying that you have apparently have no idea about the complexity of the task you are thinking of embarking on, and to that end, you should stick to the simplicity of purchasing an external USB drive if you need to increase your storage capacity of your netbook.

If I were ging to replace the drive in my netbook (I have a Samsung N140) with a larger drive, I would pull the original netbook drive and cable it and the replacement drive to a desktop computer. Then I would use a program like Acronis backup to clone the netbook drive onto the larger drive. Then all you need to do is adjust the partition sizes.

I was asking will there be any problems with the processor ,ram and Os.

Not the physical part of replacing the HDD.
