I want to restore my Samsung galaxy to a specified date not to factory reset, is this possible?

Unfortunately, no. You would have to do a "Factory Reset" or a full on "Hard Reset". You can, sometimes, uninstall the most recent updates to the OS, and to specific apps on the tablet, but you cannot choose a specific date to go back to. Even on a computer you can't do that unless you have a system restore point for that time frame.
