I want to buy a friend computer and everything checks out on steam be but says the Graphics card is not vive ready, he said its only reading 1 of the 8 GPU's but once the game is started all 8 will work. So is this pc vive ready?

No, the integrated GPU is too weak.

There is only one integrated GPU, AMD just sometimes refers to it as 8 compute cores.

In terms of performance, it's weaker than an R7 250X. The minimum requirement for the HTC Vive is an R9 290, which is obviously way more powerful.
