I ordered this new battery for my Lenovo x240 from Aliexpress and while it looks like my original old battery with the markings and all I have found a couple of anomalies. First it has three different dates stickered on and second the the serial number appears to be a maxed out 64kb value. The oldest dated sticker matches the sticker on the original battery, the two newer stickers are not found on it. The original battery has a serial number in the one thousand range.
Other than that it looks good, is of solid build quality and it does not run hot. Should I keep it, or is it too high a risk? I am thinking fire, explosions.
