Can I turn my speakers on my Mitsubishi wd-60737 on

My Mitsubishi keeps telling me the speakers are off an I can't turn them on

And why can't you turn them on? Did you go into the TV menu and check the speaker options? What happens when you do? Are they on but still not working? Do you a have something else connected to the TV like external speakers?
