Even if the CPU is the same socket, and the CPU is removable does not mean the system will work with a different CPU. If you can't find anyone online that actually did it, you can try it and see what happens. Don't know if that model laptop has a removable CPU socket, you can easily check it though. Keep in mind there are plenty of posts where someone tried to swap CPUs in a laptop and then even the original CPU no longer would work. So do you want a working slower laptop or a possible broken one?
