Can i upgrade my hp 242 laptop's CPU from i3 to i5 or i7?

I am seeking the anser that i want to upgrage my i3 prossesor to i5or i7 . Can i do it on hp 242 laptop? And does it show its proper performance?

Was this laptop ever offered with i5 or i7 processors?

Laptops, especially consumer / cheap ones, are not made to be upgradeable. CPUs are soldered, and special equipmentvis necessary tonreplace it. On top of that, more powerful CPUs need better cooling, and the whole operation will be most probably worthless.
