Can I upgrade my laptop graphics card?

I have an ASUS ROG laptop with both Intel HD graphics 4500 and Nvidia Geforce GTX 860m. I can switch between the two at any time, I want to know if it is possible to ever upgrade my Nvidia card to one of the latest.

Laptop graphics are not meant to be upgradeable. However, if ASUS made a higher end graphics card for that particular product line it may be compatible with your machine. You can try calling ASUS but i'm sure they would be highly against this.

You can check in your manual if it is upgradable.
