can i upgrade my laptop

basically i have a toshiba satellite c850-1kn laptop
i would like to know if i can upgrade my laptop

it has intel pentium b980 cpu
intel hd graphics
8gb ram
750gb hdd

i wanna upgrade the cpu and gpu if possible

could someone please let me know

CPU Upgrade is possible but not the GPU as it is integrated into the mobo, however you can get an external GPU which plugs into the laptop.

thank you for that. gives me some hope. could you please give me some examples of cpus to upgrade to cause ive looked over everywhere for answers and no ones really said anything.

You could do a quick search on amazon, and come up with some options or try to find a Toshiba Reseller in your area

Incorrect. Most laptops have upgradeable CPUs. But to be fair, it cannot be upgraded to an i3, as it uses a different socket. You'd be looking at other Pentiums.

ahh.. i would upgrade to another laptop but i only just got this one. thats why im asking to upgrade components otherwise i wouldve upgraded ages ago. some guidance on come pentium processors then please
