Question Can i use a broken laptop but working screen as a second monitor - new information

Hi i have a broken laptop but the screen still worked so i wanted to know is there a way that i can connect the laptop screen to my PC as a second monitor?

This question was asked in another post and everyone told the OP that it was not possible and the question was closed. It actally is possible and here is the link to a how-to video

While it is technically true that you can recycle the physical parts (to some extent) to serve another purpose, this is well beyond simply using a laptop as a second display and beyond the means/skills of many users.
