Can I use a USB hub on my tablet?

I have an ASUS Transformer 300 with windows 8 on it. I would like to connect a wireless keyboard to it and a usb drive...and also be able to charge the battery at the same time. Is this possible? There is only one mini usb port for it.

I don't see why you can't use a powered hub.

I'd get powered unless you know how much power you are going to draw.

If it is USB2 it only has 500mA.
