Can i use my cell phone charger to charge battery?

Can i use my cell phone charger to charge 6 volts, 4.5 Ah battery? If yes, won't the battery get heated up?

Unless you battery has the proper USB connector type to connect to your charger, I don't see how you can use it. Most laptop batterys are of much higher voltage as well (18v or so).

Yes, when batteries charge, they do tend to heat up.
