Can I use my macbook pro ram in acer aspire 5050

I have 2x1GB PC2-5300 667/533Mhz SODIMM 200pin chips from a MacBook Pro.
Will they work on an Acer Aspire 5050 with the same specs?

Yes it will work on your Acer.

Yes. I just did that 3 days ago and it worked perfectly. note that I installed 2gb but Acer only sees 1.5gb as useable.
