No. Ld players do not have power amps in them.

From what pictures I can find, this unit has a Mono audio output, which could be used to drive a powered subwoofer, or a subwoofer with a separate amplifier.

That single RCA plug is not a mono analog out but a digital audio output. Cannot be used with any sub.
