Can my laptop work with a Sata 6Gb/s SSD

Hi all I have a HP Pavilion DV6 - 4023TX laptop that has a 320GB Sata 3Gb/s HDD but I need to upgrade the HDD I have looked up the manual from here:

and on page 2 it says "Supports all Serial ATA (SATA) 12.7-mm, 9.5-mm, and 7.0-cm (2.5-inch) hard drives" but on page 91 under hard drive specs it only mentions Sata 3Gb/s. Im hoping to install an SSD to make it fast but will this laptop work at the full speeds of Sata 6Gb/s?

It will only operate at 3GB/s , sorry no upgrade there. But it will still scream compared to a hard drive

SATA III drives are backward compatible with SATA II interfaces.

SSD will be not be running full speed but still a lot faster than HDD.
