can people access my cell phone

a person in my phone contact list added their picture to my phone without my consent how did they do that? a few days ago, I noticed on my PC that they added their birthday to my Outlook calendar. I do not use my outlook calendar on my computer. it is only entry on entire calendar. worried here

Is the phone synced with Facebook or Skype?

A lot of the time, the phone will automatically retrieve their profile picture from there and set it as the contact photo.

As for the calendar, it's possible to sync with Outlook and the calendar if you have a Windows phone.

Is it possible this person simply had access to your PC?
