I have researched it and it's good for price but I have read reviews that it's screen quality is not really 1920 and because of laptop quality (keyboard, touchpad etc), it might not be worth the price.

I am sort of confused. Has someone used it? Can you please suggest?

Another one I was looking at is http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=8688882&CatId=3982. But it's quite expensive. However, I don't want to waste 800 if it's not worth it.

Another option is http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=8463135&Sku=T71-12050%20CA

Thanks

I won't be gaming. I just saw those specs. Most of the time, I will be using it for web development and programming. Most usage would be IDEs liek PHP Storm or compilers. And Photoshop. I might also run VMWare for Unix machines if needed (but not always)

That's why I am wondering if I really need this and if not then what should I go with. Reason for First Lenovo was i7 for that price.

The Lenovo is a good Laptop I have a Lenovo with a i5 and have never had any problems with it. I think bang for the buck Lenovo is one of the better choices. Is 799 the price you are set at? because if you are using the machine for work you may consider getting a ssd to speed it up.

Thanks. I was browsing and it seems there is another sales. This one is not SSD but hybrid so a bit better. However, I do have plans (have to setup budget) to get SSD and install that in place for second bay for video card as I don't need that.
