Not too old of a thread to necro I guess, had to jump in here. For all that say blah blah you can play anything on the atom z3735/asus x205ta sorry to tweak your horns guys but......you can!!. i own this very notebook/netbook what ever you want to call it. Is it as fast as an I3...No...wasnt supposed to be either but is it possible to play games....YES. Now this will take either a large flash drive/micro sd or usb external hdd as the ssd/emmc is only 32gb total with around 10gb or so available after updates. I am currently playing guild wars 2 on this with no issues, low settings but its very playable around 25fps or so in the city, 45ish out in the world. I can also play world of warcraft just fine and did a spot on tera online as well (worked pretty good in the noob zone around 25fps no idea about main city/large population as this game bores me). Call of duty modern warfare 1 runs fine and is perfectly playable, torchlight 1 and 2 are beautiful on here and very smooth. Lord of the rings online runs great with average of 40fps in most places. If anyone comes here and is thinking about buying this, do it. Just understand its not an I5 and its not gonna break records unless they are netbook records. Video is absolutly perfect, 1080p from usb drive in vlc flawless, netflix/hulu hd flawless, surfing and office absolutly wonderful. I have had this notebook since november, got it on bestbuys sales for 139.99. Have to say that even though its an atom cpu, this is far and I mean far from what atom used to be. Gets great battery life (no joke easy 10+ hours on wifi or office) if you ever owned a netbook in the past and was disaapointed with it and the atom cpu, reconsider because I use this notebook more then my home desktop now, its not a gaming machine, not by far, but unless you have to have all your games on ultra setting and get 100fps it does pretty good. I would buy it again and between this and the hp stream 11, gotta go asus on that, stream has baytrail celeron 2840 dual core which on paper seems faster (and im sure it is in some areas) but I tested this out at a local staples and it didnt feel as snappy as the asus, not bad but just a little lag even browsing the web, could have been that one machine or something messed up on it but the asus has better battery life and if you want a more professional looking pc it beats the heck out of baby blue or that off purple color they offer. Just my .02 cents
