Can you connect pioneer tv sound bar to LG smart tv

Have a sound bar off pioneer tv is it possible to to connect to new LG smart tv

If the "soundbar" is a passive speaker that came from an old Pioneer plasma TV that had a built in amp for it then you might be able to connect it to a headphone jack if the LG had one. Wouldn't play very loud. Otherwise you can't connect it.
If the soundbar has its own amp built in (it would have a power cord and volume control) then you could connect it with a converter of some kind. Depends on the inputs it has.
