Can you connect the Anthem MRX 1120 to Audio Research LS 27 preamp?

I see no reason why a stereo output of LS27 (line voltage) could not be connected to an line input of MRX1120.

I doubt there will be any value in running your analog sources to the preamp and then connecting the preamp output to the receiver but you can try it without harm. Digital sources still have to go directly to the Anthem.
If you wanted to integrate a two channel system to the receiver then you could set the components up so that you could bypass the receiver for two channel music listening. You would need an power amp for that.
