Can you get regular cable if other tvs have direct tv?

Can you get regular cable by plugging the cable cord directly into the tv from the wall if the other tvs in the house have direct tv?

Unlikely. You would need two source cables coming into your home; one from Direct TV, the other from your local cable company.
