HP Envy dv6-7295ex Notebook PC
Product Number: C5U00EA
Bluetooth wireless Intel is not recognised.
I have downloaded lastest driver but it will not install.
The driver advises to "remove the previous package" before install but I do not know how to do this. I remove the device from Device manager and it keeps getting reinstalled with generic driver.
When running driver install it fails due to no access to registry key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE32\System\CurrentControlset\services\BTHPORT\Parameters\RadioSupport

Anyhints to get new driver to install???

Common Error with windows 8
Windows Updates will automatically download correct driver for you so switch on them

Shubham - thanks for the reply, I had tried both Windows Update and HP Support Assistant and direct download from HP site of the SP package file, none worked. Finally bit the bullet and forced a Windows 8 reset wiping the hard drive fully. (Refresh did not work) About 250 updates later everything is working including the Bluetooth. I think this machine which has been used by my son without the virus utility working was infected with a virus.

I also found the BIOS was old, and most of the HP drivers needed to be updated so in the end I have little idea which final item was root cause. The problem is gone. Along the way I discovered how to put W8 in safe mode using either MSCONFIG command or using advanced startup in PC Settings
