Canofile help please

I have a canofile I think. It is zipped and nothing will open it.
The previous IT guy, I am told used Canofile to store data.
Anyone know how to open a Canofile?

Did not note any online/free converters....

Canon's website did not help either - kept pushing product ads at me no matter what I tried searching. Had hoped that because Canofile is apparently no longer supported that they would offer some conversion application.

You will probably need to find and pay a conversion service....
