Can't connect my Galaxy Nexus to the Bell interent network

The problem:

What's app, social media, emails.... will only update/populate when I connect to wi-fi. I have a plan that includes data, so what's the deal!!!

Details:

- I have an unlocked Galaxy Nexus (Versoin4.1.2)
- I have inputted the APN as shown on Bell's support page Bell support link

The phone is able to make calls and send texts (haven't attempted a MMS), but won't connect online.

Can anyone help!!!!
