Can't decide which laptop to buy

Hello !

I am deciding between 2 laptops. One is HP Spectre x360 13.3" (16GB RAM, i7-8550U, 512GB SSD, 1080p, 1210€) and the other is Dell XPS 13 (8GB RAM, i5-8250U, 256GB SSD, 1080p, 1149€). I can't decide between the beautiful display of XPS 13 and the flexibility of Spectre x360. Also the specs are better on the Spectre. I would use Spectre in tent and tablet mode to watch videos, sometimes take notes in school, maybe sketch something. I don't know if I will need that touchscreen so much.Also the Spectre has 16GB of RAM and XPS 13 only 8GB. I don't think i need more than 256GB SSD and i5-8250U would be enough for me, but I don't know if 8GB is enough. What would you go for ? Would you buy different laptop than these two ?

If you're using it for notes and such. You could pretty much get any modern laptop. Even a Chromebook. Just buy the XPS because it's more than you need if you're looking at those 2 laptops.
