Cant find my emails in Gmail?

I was cleaning up my emails when I decided to move all my forum emails to my newly created "Forum" category in Gmail, so I selected all of my forum emails and clicked the forum button under the Move To tab and Gmail gave their confirmation. But when I checked the Forum category they were not there. So were exactly did my emails go? I'm starting to regret that decision I made.

Just go and check in trash in gmail.....
