Can't get in to do a factory reset

HELP!!!My granddaughter has froze up her RCA Voyager Pro. I can't seem to get into the settings to do a factory reset. Can you help me?

Exactly how is it frozen? Just an app is stuck on the screen or it won't load up at all? Every tablet I know can do a reset with the buttons also, Turn off the tablet, then hold in the power and volume up till you see the menu, it will give you an option or re-loading it.
