Question Can't move apps to sd card/read pdf files

Hello,
I bought a new sd card for my Samsung Galaxy J5 pro running on android 9 pie but I've got some trouble moving files and apps to it.
When I move pdf files, some of them won't open. They tell me "cannot display pdf ___ invalid format".
And when I try to move apps to sd card, sometimes they tell me "not enough space storage" even though it is nearly empty.
What should I do?
Please help me.

Hey! What you should do is check it with a computer (you can do this by connecting the phone to the computer and accessing files), you can also use the android 9s format option. If you want more info I am willing to tell you how to do so.
