The actual answer is for my type of laptop that there is no disc drive or a button and you would have to buy a disc drive and dismantle the keyboard to put the driver in

Hi,

Just to verify you just want to know on how to open the CD driver and there's no problem with it right?
- First you open the CD driver by pressing a button of the right hand side of the laptop where the CD drive is located.
- Next is to can go to Computer explorer then right click on the DVD drive icon and select Eject.
- Here's also a manual for your laptop that may help.

Follow steps specified by Laptop-Nerd, it should work if your DVD drive isn't damaged or faulty. Now, if it's damaged or faulty and not opening despite of pressing eject button on DVD drive. Then in most of the laptops there is tiny hole. Very tiny. Find it on the drive (it should be near to eject button). Insert needle in it. Just like inserting iPhone's sim ejector tool to eject the sim out, this will eject your DVD drive out. I don't know about Asus but this works on Dells and Lenovo. Hope it helps.
If all these steps doesn't work then taking your laptop to Asus service centre nearby you or showing it to any expert will be good. (CD/DVD drives are delicate)
