can't type \ character on my keyboard

Hi am having trouble tyiping \ character on my toshiba laptop. The \ key types # instead. Please help.

Set the right keyboard layout. This should be somewhere under Control Panel>Accessibility.

Hi, you just have to use the Alt Car key at the right of the space bar with the #, you will get the character \ instead.
