cd in a toshibe laptop

have a satellite c55 toshiba and try to use my printer that has a cd of software. only to find out it wont take a cd. I see parts available. are there printers that dont have cds or some way to use a cd with this laptop?

Download the printers driver and software from the manufactures website.

1. Have you looked at the manufacture's website to see if the software on the 'cd' is downloadable?

2. Find a friend (or go to a library) who has a pc with a dvd drive and copy all the files on the 'cd' (i think it is probably a dvd) to a usb stick and then install the software from the usb to your toshiba.

3. Borrow a portable dvd drive from a friend - hook it up to your toshiba and install the software.
