Hey:

As a photographer I work in my basement darkroom alot
I would like to be able to pick up calls while down there, however
I get no reception. Has anyone resloved a similar issue.

My brother had the same problem, but soon enough a spat of bad weather
helped him remove the house. His basement reception improved
significantly, but he now has to wear a hat a lot more when he's home.

I just had a Wilson amplifier installed for my basement office and it works
great.

Bluetooth headset is your solution. Leave the phone upstairs.

Brian,

But they are for Iden phone. Will it work for GSM only phones?

That company has amplifiers for both the Iden frequencies and
the cellular frequencies.

The one for cellular frequencies will work for GSM as long
as the provider in your area has 850Mhz GSM.

It would not work with T mobile and
areas where cingular only has 1900Mhz coverage.
