I'm planning to upgrade my flip phone to a Droid Maxx soon, and it comes in a 16 gb and 32 gb internal memory size, with no ability to add any sort of card or anything to change/increase that.

If I go to 16 gb it's free and I can just pick one up from the Verizon store, while if it's 32 gb I have to spend around $50 and buy it through Amazon. Basically, I'm trying to decide if it's worth spending extra for 32 gb, or will 16 gb be all I ever need.

As far as my current usage based on my Ipod usage:

I only have about 2 gb of music, and it will probably be some time before I even approach 3 gb. I have about 5 gb of other stuff that I would put on it, and I factored in about 3 gb for possible apps. While I have more than enough stuff in terms of movies and shows to fill up several devices of this size, I don't need to stick it all on my phone at once and so I could probably only stick the ones I want most on there. Although considering how big a video file can be, that space might still fill up fast. I estimate I'll fill it up with at least 10 gb of my own stuff, rounding up a fair bit with what I use now, not counting potentially fancy games
Even though I have an Ipod, it's old and been through the wash, so the battery isn't so great anymore and screen has a bit of a flicker. So the Maxx would likely, on top of being a phone, be a music player and sometimes portable video player. I also use it to review flashcards sometimes, although that's mostly on the computer. I don't play as many mobile games anymore, but that doesnt mean I won't try and grab 1 or 2. I could always just transfer the ones I want back and forth as necessary

Basically I want to figure out if 16 gb is enough or if I should just spend the money for 32 gb. I'll probably not use much more than 10 gb at a time, but I don't know for sure. I also don't know how much space the OS and Verizon bloatware will take up, so there is also that to consider
