Change the display on a toshiba sattelite p100

hello guys,
i had me screen broken 3 weeks ago, so i bought a new one from ebay in order to replace it. the display arved to me yesterday, but there is a problem. when i changed it the pc wan in sleep mode and it worked well, but later when i restarted my pc the display didnt show anything and onle tha backlit light was working... does anybody know why? could it be a bios problem?

i read it but it didn't solve my problem.i cant make sense how is technically possible after changing the monitor in sleep mode working properly and when it restarts shows nothing....?
