Change to surround mode

Hey there.
I got a jvc xc-ths11, where the remote control is gone. When i set it but the television is it only the front speakers and the subwoofer, there is playing. Is it possible to change to surround mode, without the remote control?

Hey Jepp your question is too vague? Don't you have setup options on your JVC receiver? If so I believe the answer to be yes?
I've used my 10 yr old Onkyo for a couple years w/o my remote and set my surround options from HT receiver.
I just bought a new off brand Onk remote for $16 from eBay and it looks just like my old remote and has all the same functions!
