Charged laptop overnight, wont turn on

Charged overnight, in the morning the keyboard backlight was on, fan running, but the monitor was off. Turned it off by holding the power button and now it wont turn back on. Machine is just under a year old. When I plug it in the charge light wont light.

Let me know if any additional information would be useful.

try and remove the battery and plug it in the AC Power Source , it should work
