I have a Lenovo idea-pad 510 with an i7-7500U CPU and an 8 GB DDR3 RAM and a 2 TB HDD with a 4GB DDR4 NVIDIA GeForce 940mx graphics card.
I have been playing games like Watch Dogs 2, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands, GTA V, Just cause 3, etc. Recently installed Just Cause 4 and the issue would happen in between the game and the game would lag so badly that I have to kill the game and the laptop suddenly starts charging again within a minute of me not even touching the power cord or adapter. Now the laptop simply stops taking power whenever I start any game and it loads to it's default home screen.
Has the power cord or adapter deteriorated over the course of 4 years?
